Mike Bradshaw, PGA
COO/Director of Golf
Mike has been part of the Kirkbrae team since 1998, beginning his tenure as an assistant golf professional before serving as the club’s Head Golf Professional for 15 seasons from 2006–2020. In 2021, he transitioned into the role of COO/Director of Golf, where his leadership and vision continue to shape the member experience. Over the years, Mike has received numerous New England PGA and RIPGA honors recognizing his excellence, professionalism, and commitment to the game. He also currently serves as President of the New England PGA, further demonstrating his influence within the region’s golf community. His dedication to continually enhancing the experience of the club’s members and guests is shared and supported by the entire Kirkbrae team.

Jessica Smart
Clubhouse Manager
Jessica has been part of the Kirkbrae team since 2002 and brings a passion for hospitality and a sharp eye for detail to every aspect of club operations. With over 20 years of club experience and a strong background in event planning and member relations, she plays a key role in creating exceptional experiences for members and guests alike. From coordinating large-scale golf tournaments to curating private events and overseeing the full membership onboarding process, she ensures every detail is executed with professionalism and care. Her commitment to excellence helps foster a welcoming and engaging club environment, where members feel valued from their first visit onward. With a deep understanding of country club culture and a dedication to high service standards, Jessica is proud to help uphold the club’s traditions while bringing fresh energy to its events and daily operations.

Director of Event Sales & Services
Sara has spent over a decade curating exceptional event experiences in one of New England’s premier private venues. With more than 10 years of leadership at Kirkbrae, she brings a deep understanding of both operational excellence and personalized client service. From elegant weddings and milestone celebrations to corporate functions, Sara oversees every detail—from initial inquiry to flawless execution. Known for a calm, solutions-oriented approach and a genuine passion for hospitality, she has helped hundreds of clients turn their visions into a reality while consistently exceeding expectations. Under her leadership, Kirkbrae has continued to grow as a sought-after destination for both social and professional events. With over 16 years of experience at Kirkbrae Country Club, Tiffany specializes in planning and coordinating spectacular weddings that truly reflect each couple’s unique love story and culture. Director of Event Sales & Services
With over 8 years in the hospitality industry, Sydney specializes in planning personalized, detail-driven events that wow guests and bring visions to life. At Kirkbrae, she works closely with couples, corporate teams, and families to curate unforgettable experiences in one of Rhode Island’s premier venues. Known for her organization, creativity, and calm under pressure approach, she brings both structure and warmth to the planning process.

Jason Howard, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Jason has been with Kirkbrae since 2021 as the Head Golf Professional. Previously, he was a Director of Golf in the Philadelphia section. Jason and his team oversee the golf operation for the club including outings, tournaments, and daily play. Jason brings a particular passion for merchandising, member services, and teaching golfers of all abilities to deepen their love for the game. He brings over 14 years of professional experience to his current role.

Bobby Silva
Food & Beverage Director
With more than 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Bobby joined our team in the fall of 2024, bringing exceptional leadership, innovation, and passion to his role as Director of Food & Beverage at Kirkbrae. His career began as a deli owner and progressed into a successful catering business before he transitioned into management roles at Providence Oyster Bar and Shula’s 347 Grill. He later spent 15 years with The Capital Grille, where his hands-on approach and commitment to excellence contributed to the restaurant’s success and helped establish him as a well known and highly respected figure in Rhode Island’s dining scene.

Peter Wood
Golf Course Superintendent
Peter began his career at Kirkbrae in 1993. For 27 years, he served as Assistant Superintendent, where his commitment to course excellence earned him the respect of both members and colleagues. In December of 2020, Peter was promoted to Superintendent, a role in which he continues to elevate the playability, appearance, and overall condition of the golf course. A 1988 graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, Peter holds an Associate’s Degree in Turfgrass Management. Peter is known for his strong work ethic, keen eye for environmental stewardship, and dedication to maintaining the championship-level standards that Kirkbrae is known for.

Jody Small
Executive Chef
In 2025, Jody Small joined the Kirkbrae team, backed by 33 years of hands-on culinary experience across multiple styles and kitchens. He began cooking at age 14 and went on to graduate with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1999 with a degree in Culinary Arts. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of culinary styles, including seafood, steakhouse classics, refined pub cuisine, and fine dining. Raised on a dairy farm in Vermont, Jody learned early how to care for livestock, grow fresh ingredients, and cook with what his family produced. Inspired by his grandmother, he developed a deep love for creating honest, heartfelt food.
