Kirkbrae Country Club is a year round operation that offers great employment in the culinary field. Our culinary team creates a wide array of culinary preparations for our membership and banquet guests. Always on the cutting edge of what’s hot, the chefs and cooks of Kirkbrae constantly strive to create new dishes and menus. Our Executive Chefs leads a dynamic culinary staff with over 100 years of experience. The Club is dedicated to hiring and training the best staff in the industry. Our culinary team is extremely proud of the quality and presentation of every food product that leaves the kitchen. From a fresh made pastry dessert to an elaborate Tuscan Antipasti buffet, great care and only the finest ingredients are used to exceed our guest’s expectations.
For Kirkbrae’s membership, the culinary staff offers a number of casual dining menus. We also provide beverage cart, snack bar and 19th hole service on the golf course and at our pool cabana. In the fall, the culinary team “kicks it up a notch” with formal dining menus on Saturday evenings. The formal menus are accompanied with tuxedo, tableside service and graceful service in our exclusive Charcoal Room.
If your passion is in banquets or catering, Kirkbrae is definitely the place for you. We host over 550 private functions per year and are known for our signature menus and consistent food quality. From Ice Carvings to Smoked Salmon & Caviar mirrors, our banquet team goes beyond conventional presentation and “lights” up a party with show stopping buffets and displays.
Kirkbrae also has a Pastry Department that is responsible for producing all in-house baked goods and pastry items. Internships are available in Pastry and Culinary and we are proud to be an approved Cooperative Education site for Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
